I know our newsletter is due out next month, but we have 2 exciting fundraisers that we’d like to share with you now. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

1. GivingBackLife is tight on funds and we are raising money through a service project, teaming up with the Columbus Capital City Half Marathon. We did this last year and would like more people to come out and have fun with us this year! We will primarily be handing out medals to the participants as they cross the finish line while cheering them on! Capital City will donate $10 to GivingBackLife for every volunteer that comes out. 2. Help us raise money for toys to be given out at an elementary school in rural China. As many of you know, we work with the Yu-Lin orphanage in Guang Xi province. During our last visit there in December (2009), we toured other rural villages and came across a dilapidated elementary school with TONS of kids. Our guide only had a few toys to hand out to SOME of the kids, while many of the of the other kids left empty handed. We vowed to them before we left that we would bring every child in that elementary school a toy next time we returned. Well, we’re returning this June to that very same elementary school as a surprise! Here are ways you can donate:
