Anticipating Yu-Lin (1 Comment)

I walked around my nice little suburban neighborhood today. I saw people taking a stroll with their dogs. Others were sipping coffee at Starbucks, enjoying a light conversation with friends. I thought to myself, America is a great place. A great country to get an education, raise a nice family, have a nice house, get a good paycheck. Having these things are as they sound, nice. I laid this picture perfect image of the American lifestyle next to what I witnessed in Yu-Lin. I thought, how different is the life of an orphan in rural China. I think of the orphanage we will be visiting in 3 weeks, of the 39 kids halfway across this globe, and a spark goes off in my heart. My heart melts for these orphans, and I feel so blessed. So blessed to have the opportunity to spend time with these awesome kids. Looking forward to this upcoming trip to China… :)
