Aching Hearts (No Comments)

Today my dear auntie and uncle are mourning over the death of their 36 year old daughter. How painful it must be, to weep over the loss of your child. And sometimes this makes us wonder, “God, how can you let this happen?’ But the truth is God mourns over His children way too often, more often than we can comprehend. Children that choose to ignore Him, to resist seeing Him and this life He has created. I choose to live this life acknowledging all that He does, the good and the bad. The pains of this life seem hard to bear at times but an eternity without God would just be unbearable.

Prayers to those with aching hearts…

Gongyi China (No Comments)

At the end of March I get to spend one week in Gongyi, China. I will be learning from an American couple who’s been there for 11 years ministering to the orphans and abandoned children. They are in the process of opening their 4th orphanage! God has done amazing things through them and I can’t wait to see what He will show me. It’s awe-inspiring to see God use regular, broken people to do His good work. What a privilege! Stay tuned for more details… :-)
